Writing Is Rewriting

Time & Location: Saturdays 3pm-6pm Pacific Time, online on Zoom
Next dates: to be announced

Leader: Heidi Hornbacher

For writers who desire a supportive framework in which to complete a screenplay or launch a rewrite. Familiarity with our methodology or other screenwriting training is recommended.

Over eight weeks we will dive deep into your film or television script, looking at it from different angles and putting it through enriching diagnostics. Our exercises and talks will give you a fresh perspective on your pages, so your story and characters develop layers and nuance. Each week we will also table-read a section of your script, so you can put your new tools to work. This workshop will take your craft to the next level, and we can celebrate your progress together.

Between sessions, we offer 1-to-1 time to help you with any individual questions or issues (a half hour each week).

The support doesn’t end there. After the workshop is over, you may take advantage of a Script Consultation for 50% off and our affordable Alumni Drop-In sessions, designed especially for those who need a little extra time to finish their draft.

Price: $550 (8 weeks)

  • A 10% discount is available for alumni of PageCraft’s Northern California retreat, Italy retreat, or a previous Writing is Rewriting workshop.
  • We will invoice participants through PayPal. If you wish to use a credit card, you can do so through PayPal.
